External Share & Public Links for Jira creates a public link for a single Jira work item or board. Anyone you send it to can open that one work item or board in a browser, read-only. Readers need no Jira account and no Jira license, and you change no permissions. Each share creates a new link that shows that content and nothing else.

Readers open the link and see the work item or board without signing in to Jira.
Security by design
The app runs on Atlassian Forge, inside Atlassian’s cloud infrastructure. It sends no data to outside services and keeps no copy of your work items, so your Jira content never leaves the Atlassian ecosystem.
